Net Tonnage
The net tonnage is no longer obtained by deducting certain spaces, but serves as the function of the external frame volume of all spaces that are useful for the transport of goods and passengers. The net tonnage is expressed in Moorsom tonnage (1 Moorsom tonnage = 100 cubic feet = 2.83 cubic metres).
