Storage and distribution

As a good innkeeper we take care of your goods. Not only during transport, but also at using our storage facilities. We have warehouses (8,500 m2), where we particularly store "rough" material such as big bags, crates, wood, non-hazardous chemicals (no liquids). Also storage of dangerous goods is possible.

C-sum customs warehouse

Our warehouse is a C-sum customs depot or a C-sum warehouse. This means that only the administrator of the warehouse (warehouse keeper) is allowed to store the goods. The goods do not have to be our property, we can of course store goods for third parties. In that case, we remain responsible – also in case of the Customs - for the stored goods. As a warehouse keeper, we are the one who must provide a guarantee to Customs.

Administrative and physical monitoring

Customs performs both physical and administrative control in a customs warehouse type C. The degree of reliability provided by the stock records, determines what kind of supervision will be exercised. As the stock records provides more guarantees, more administrative control will be exercised and the movement of goods will particularly monitored on a administrative level. If the stock records fewer guarantees, especially physical control will be exercised. Therefore, a type C customs warehouse must be located near a Customs office.

Stock Administration

In a type C customs warehouse stock records must be kept by the administrator. All in- and outputs must be recorded in the stock administration. After the temporary storage your goods will be delivered to the customer according to your pre-agreed specifications.
