We urge you to make sure all documentation is in order before shipment.
It is not so easy to get a manifest correction in Algeria, as Algerian Customs see changes as potential fraud attempts. Not only will it take 4 weeks or even longer, Customs also issues fines.
In particular, changing the importers name can lead to high fines.
Algeria is a ‘no docs/no load’ destination which means the commercial invoice, packinglist and B/L instructions need to be in our possession prior to the cut off date. An accurate description of the cargo such as piece count and gross weight is required and especially the correct name of the final importer.
Do you need more information about exporting to Algeria? We would be happy to assist.
