Transporting a shipment with other shipments in a trailer is referred to as LTL. Thus multiple LTL shipments with different CMRs and different owners can be loaded in a single trailer. Instead of paying for the entire trailer, you pay only for the space your shipment occupies. LTL is also commonly referred to as groupage.
